Furthermore, in June 2017, André Hoffmann, who serves as a Trustee and Chairman, made an additional donation of £9m to the Trust. This donation was complemented by a matched funding of £6m from Oxford University, resulting in the doubling of the size and impact of the Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme.
