The documents listed below are necessary for completing an application for admission. All materials should be submitted through the online application portal:

Online Application: Submit the Berea scholarships Application for Admission for International Students, free of charge at their official application portal HERE
Personal Essay: The essay, spanning 2-5 pages, should be completed without external assistance and addresses key points including an overview of educational and life experiences, post-education plans, reasons for returning (or not returning) to the home country, and descriptions of positive impacts on the community. Detailed content is advantageous. The essay can be uploaded to the application portal after submitting the online application.
Official Secondary School Records: Provide documents such as leaving exam results, A-Level results, O-Level results, National Higher Diploma results, or West African Examination results. Academic records should demonstrate completion of secondary school requirements in the home country, translated into English and certified by school officials.
Teacher Recommendation Form: Request an individual to submit the official form via the online application portal or provide a typed written recommendation in English. Recommendations completed using the official form are preferred.
Financial Resource Recommendation Form: This form, written in English, should be completed by a school administrator, employer, religious leader, or another suitable individual who can assess your personal and financial resources as they relate to pursuing higher education. It should not be completed by a close relative.
Official Test Scores: International applicants must submit a report from exams such as IELTS, Duolingo, TOEFL, SAT, or ACT, even if an official copy has been requested to be sent to Berea from the testing center. International applicants are not eligible for test-optional admission.
